Ở việt nam và một số quốc gia khác, học sinh khi học luôn có những bài kiểm tra để đánh giá năng lực và kiến thức của bản thân. Một vài người cho rằng việc đó là thừa, tạo cho học sinh cảm thấy căng thẳng, sợ hãi. Nhưng theo quan điểm của tôi, việc học sinh làm bài kiểm tra là việc làm hợp lý và nên duy trì lâu dài.có một số lý do để giải thích cho quan điểm của tôi.
Thứ nhất, việc kiểm tra làm cho học sinh học tập chăm chì hơn. Những bài kiểm tra 5 phút, 15 phút bất chợt làm cho học sinh phải học bài cũ ở nhà trước khi đến lớp nếu muốn được điểm cao. Những bài kiểm tra 45 phút, bài kiểm tra học kỳ quan trọng khiến học sinh phải chăm chỉ học ở nhà nếu không muốn hocj lại một năm
