- Cho phép chẩn đoán hình ảnh, xử lý hình ảnh, xem hình ảnh từ xa ngoài bệnh viện.
- Xử lý hình ảnh y khoa, phân tích, so sánh để phục vụ chẩn đoán chính xác.
- Cho phép HIS truy vấn hình ảnh kết quả và yêu cầu hệ thống PACS hiển thị hình ảnh theo yêu cầu trực tiếp mà không cần phải đăng nhập vào hệ thống PACS thông qua giao thức single sign on
