Đại học Huế đã vi phạm niêm yết giá học phí quy tại Điểm 5d Khoản 1 Điều 1 Nghị định số 95/2011/NĐ-CP ngày 20 tháng 10 năm 2011 Nghị định sửa đổi, bổ sung một số điều của Nghị định số 202/2004/NĐ-CP ngày 10/12/2004 của Chính phủ về xử phạt vi phạm hành chính trong lĩnh vực tiền tệ và hoạt động ngân hàng. Theo đó, Niêm yết giá, quảng cáo hàng hóa, dịch vụ, quyền sử dụng đất bằng ngoại tệ, vàng không đúng quy định của pháp luật sẽ bị phạt đến 300-500 triệu đồng. Một ví dụ là năm 2011, trường Đại học FPT đã thực hiện niêm yết học phí các khóa đào tạo theo chương trình liên kết với nước ngoài bằng USD. Với vi phạm trên, Chánh Thanh tra, giám sát ngân hàng phạt trường Đại học FPT 500 triệu đồng. Ngoài ra còn yêu cầu trường Đại học FPT không được niêm yết, thông báo, quảng cáo học phí các khóa học bằng ngoại tệ dưới mọi hình thức. tôi cho rằng sinh viên kinh tế muốn theo nghề này rõ ràng cần trang bị cho mình một kiến thức xã hội và pháp tốt trên nền tảng kiến thức trong quá trình học.
