Từ năm học 2014-2015 Khoa tiếp tục giao cho Phòng HCTH là đầu mối thực hiện nhiệm vụ nâng cấp hạ tầng hệ thống công nghệ thông tin của Khoa, đồng thời cải tạo, mở rộng khuôn viên nhà E1 để có thêm diện tích phòng làm việc, giảng dạy, thực hành, và đẩy nhanh tiến độ xây dựng khuôn viên mới trong khuôn khổ chung của Đại học Quốc gia Hà Nội tại Khu dự án Láng Hòa Lạc.
