Nét văn hoá thú vị giữa Sài Gòn xưa và nay
Suốt từ thế kỷ trước, Sài Gòn đã là một thành phố phát triển năng động, cho đến nay, cuộc sống người dân có nhiều đổi thay nhưng có những nét văn hóa như góc phố, khu chợ, nhà hàng... vẫn không thay đổi nhiều so với trước kia.


Giao thông ở Sài Gòn từ trước đến nay vẫn nhộn nhịp, đông đúc, nhiều loại xe cộ qua lại.


Ngoài những khu chợ nổi tiếng, trở thành di tích lịch sử của thành phố như chợ Bến Thành, chợ Bình Tây, chợ Tân Định... thì Sài Gòn còn nhiều khu chợ khác, vẫn hoạt động cho đến ngày nay. Nằm bên dòng kênh Thị Nghè, khu chợ cùng tên vẫn nhộn nhịp từ sáng đến tối. Ngày nay, chợ Thị Nghè không còn lấn ra tận bờ kênh như trước để "nhường chỗ" cho công viên dọc bờ kênh.


Ngày xưa hay hiện tại thì Sài Gòn vẫn tồn tại những khu nhà ổ chuột, một mặt trái tất yếu của cuộc sống đô thị. Trước kia, bên dòng kênh Tàu Hủ là nơi tập trung của những người nghèo khổ, họ lập nên những mái nhà tạm bợ. Ngày nay, cũng trên dòng kênh này, đoạn ở quận 8 vẫn còn rất nhiều khu nhà ổ chuột.
