Ngày 7/2/2015 kênh VTC14 phát phóng sự về nước uống của công ty, trong đó, có nghi vấn về đồ an toàn về thành phần của nước tăng lực Number1 và Dr. Thanh.[33] Công thức Number1 có thành phần gồm nhiều chất phụ gia chưa có bằng chứng về an toàn, chất kích thích và đường hoá học.

Theo thầy thuốc nhân dân Nguyễn Xuân Hưởng , nguyên chủ tịch trung ương hội đông y Việt Nam , chưa ghi nhận được y văn chữ hán về công thức hoàng cung của sản phẩm Dr.Thanh mà nhà sản xuất công bố. Tiếp theo đó, phóng sự cũng dẫn ra công thức cua Dr.Thanh có chứ thành phần tương tự với loại trà Wong Lo Kat đã từng được chứng minh gây loét dạ dày được bộ y tế Trung Quốc công bố[34]

Ngày 9 tháng 2 năm 2015, anh Nguyễn Xuân Định (26 tuổi, ấp Bình Phong, xã Tân Mỹ Chánh, TP Mỹ Tho) đã phản ánh với các cơ quan báo chí về việc cách đây ba tháng, anh có mua một chai nước Number One ở quán gần nhà, thấy có con ruồi nên không dám uống và để lại.[35]

Tại quán cà phê Đất Mũi, khi kiểm tra các sản phẩm còn lại, lực lượng làm nhiệm vụ tiếp tục phát hiện 1 chai Dr Thanh khác cũng có chứa vật lạ tương tự. Theo ghi nhận từ vỏ chai, cả 2 chai Dr Thanh nói trên đều là loại chai nhựa 350 ml, nhãn hiệu in trên chai thể hiện của Công ty TNHH TMDV Tân Hiệp Phát (Bình Dương), hạn sử dụng đến ngày 7.7.2016. Bà Dư Bích Thủy, đại diện quán cà phê Đất Mũi, cho biết những chai trà thảo mộc Dr Thanh vừa bị phát hiện có dị vật được mua từ tiệm tạp hóa Thanh Tòng.[40][41]

Tại tiệm tạp hóa Thanh Tòng, ông Hoàng Lý Tưởng, Chi cục phó Chi cục ATVSTP tỉnh Cà Mau phát hiện thêm 72 chai xuất hiện dị vật là những váng lợn cợn và đã giao cho chủ tiệm tạp hóa tạm lưu giữ.[42][40]

Sáng 21 tháng 12 năm 2015, khi một khách đến quán cà phê Shipper (Phường 7, TP Vũng Tàu) kêu nước “Dr Thanh”, quán đưa ra bán thì vị khách này phát hiện có lợn cợn trong chai nên không khui.
