Ngày 4/9, Singapore ghi nhận thêm 27 trường hợp nhiễm virus Zika, nâng tổng số ca nhiễm loại virus nguy hiểm này lên 242 bệnh nhân sau một tuần dịch bệnh này được phát hiện tại đây.
Trước đó cùng ngày, Quốc Vụ khanh phụ trách các nguồn tài nguyên nước-môi trường và y tế Amy Khor Lean Suan cho biết Bộ này đang cân nhắc khả năng để những bệnh nhân nghi nhiễm Zika điều trị tại nhà trong thời gian xét nghiệm các mẫu thử máu và nước tiểu song cảnh báo họ phải thận trọng tránh để muỗi đốt.
