- The pre-writing stage là một bước rất quan trọng cho học sinh có thể củng cố từ vựng, cấu trúc và nó còn giúp các em bước đầu tạo dựng những ý của bài viết. ở giai đoạn này, giáo viên nên cung cấp cho học sinh những cấu trúc và từ vựng cần thiết xung quanh chủ đề của bài viết để các em diễn đạt ý của mình.
- giáo viên nên dẫn dắt học sinh bước vào bài viết một cách cẩn thận và hướng cho họ những nhiệm vụ đơn giản, cụ thể phù hợp với khả năng của học sinh.
