Người Đức chưa thân thiện và nhiệt tình như người Mỹ nhưng họ lại khá sâu sắc. Thẳng thắn và dị ứng với những kẻ giả dối là những tính cách đặc biệt của họ trong tình bạn. Và điều này luôn họ được áp dụng vào cách dạy dỗ con cái: "luôn sống chân thật và tình cảm".

Tự chủ, không quá dựa dẫm vào người khác kể cả bạn bè. Người Đức nghĩ rằng họ phải có sự tự chủ, suy nghĩ, vạch kế hoạch và rồi tìm ra cách thực hiện.

Người dân ở đây rất tốt bụng và không thích phán xét người khác. Do đó tình bạn họ rất bền chặt và khăng khít.
