Đây là khóa tập huấn đầu tiên được tổ chức tại Ninh Thuận do giảng viên của Ban Quản lý Dự án EU giảng dạy, với những kinh nghiệm, uy tín trong khoảng thời gian dài làm việc trong doanh nghiệp và cả trong lĩnh vực quản lý Nhà nước về du lịch, giảng viên Trần Quang Minh, chuyên gia của dự án EU đã có buổi thảo luận hết sức thú vị và gần gủi truyền đạt cho học viên những kiến thức cơ bản về sự cần thiết trong kinh doanh lưu trú và trách nhiệm của người quản lý đối với cơ sở của mình. Lớp tập huấn chỉ diễn ra trong 1 ngày nhưng đã thu hút được hơn 30 học viên đến từ các cơ quan ban ngành, cán bộ và nhân viên của các doanh nghiệp trên địa bàn tỉnh về tham dự.
