Nhiều địa phương chậm triển khai chính sách quốc gia về y dược cổ truyền

ND - 19/63 tỉnh, thành phố chưa được UBND tỉnh phê duyệt "Kế hoạch thực hiện chính sách quốc gia về y dược cổ truyền đến năm 2010" tại địa phương.

Ngày 16-12, Bộ Y tế sơ kết năm năm thực hiện Quyết định 222/2003/QÐ-TTg, ngày 3-11-2003 của Thủ tướng Chính phủ phê duyệt chính sách quốc gia về y dược cổ truyền đến năm 2010.

Theo đó, nhiều lĩnh vực đã được triển khai có hiệu quả, như mở rộng mạng lưới quản lý, khám chữa bệnh bằng y dược cổ truyền (YDCT); phát triển dược liệu, thuốc đông dược, thuốc từ dược liệu... Nền YDCT của Việt Nam được đánh giá ở tốp đầu của thế giới.

Tuy nhiên đến nay, việc triển khai chính sách quốc gia về YDCT ở nhiều địa phương còn chậm, 19/63 tỉnh, thành phố chưa được UBND tỉnh phê duyệt "Kế hoạch thực hiện chính sách quốc gia về y dược cổ truyền đến năm 2010", tại địa phương. Các chỉ tiêu đều chưa đạt được so với mức nêu trong chính sách quốc gia và có nguy cơ khó đạt được vào năm 2010; việc kết hợp YDCT và y học hiện đại trong điều trị chưa tốt. Công tác nghiên cứu khoa học, kế thừa được phát triển nhưng ứng dụng chỉ trong dạng hẹp. Công tác phát triển dược liệu còn mang tính tự phát, chất lượng chưa được kiểm soát thường xuyên. Nhiều cơ sở YDCT chưa được đầu tư hợp lý, hiện đại hóa hoạt động YDCT chậm, nguy cơ tụt hậu ngày càng xa...
