The Hungarian Parliament building<br><br>The Parliament building was built in 1885 after the merge of 3 Pest, Buda and Obuda cities into the current capital of Budapest.<br><br>The building was designed by architect Imre Stendil and completed in 1904. The building process spent 40 million bricks, half a million gems, 40 kg of gold. The building is designed in Gothic architecture and has a central arched façade.<br><br>The building is the 2nd tallest architectural structure in Budapest. In addition to the design path, the building's distinctive point is that the inside and outside of the building has about 242 sculptures on the walls. The Hungarian Parliament building was recognized as a world cultural heritage in 2002.
