Các nghiên cứu này đã cố gắng để tìm hiểu ảnh hưởng của những bài hát về việc học từ vựng của người học ngôn ngữ trên cấp độ dựa trên giới tính của họ. Để đạt được những mục đích này, một bài kiểm tra trình độ thông thạo ngôn ngữ được dùng cho 105 nam và nữ sinh viên theo học tiếng Anh tại Ahvaz, Iran ở dạng các mặt hàng nhiều lựa chọn về từ vựng và cấu trúc và cuối cùng là 60 người học ngôn ngữ trên cấp độ đã được lựa chọn và được chia ngẫu nhiên thành hai đồng nhất nhóm như nhóm chế độ âm nhạc và không âm nhạc. Những người tham gia được kiểm tra dựa trên một bài kiểm tra trắc nghiệm mà thăm dò vào vốn từ vựng của người học học tập thông qua các bài hát của ba thể loại âm nhạc khác nhau, tức là pop, country, và rap. Các kết quả của một loạt các t-test cho thấy nhóm chế độ musical- thực hiện tốt hơn trên cả thu hồi vốn từ vựng và duy trì. Kết quả cũng cho thấy hiệu suất tốt hơn của các học viên nam hơn nữ. Những phát hiện này gợi ý rằng bài hát không chỉ đơn thuần là một công cụ giải trí và chúng có thể được sử dụng như một tài liệu sư phạm đặc biệt là khi nói đến giảng dạy từ vựng.

These studies have tried to find out the influence of the song about learning the vocabulary of language learner on level based on their gender. To achieve this purpose, a test of language proficiency are used for 105 male and female students studying English in Ahvaz, Iran in the form of multiple choice items of vocabulary and structures and the last is 60 people learn languages on level were selected and randomly divided into two homogeneous group as group music mode and not the music. Participants are tested based on a multiple choice test that probes into the learners ' vocabulary learning through songs of three different music genres, i.e. pop, country, and rap. The results of a series of t-test showed groups of musical mode-performed better on both the recall vocabulary and maintain. The results also showed better performance of female than male students. These findings suggest that the song is not merely a tool of entertainment and they can be used as a pedagogical document especially when it comes to teaching vocabulary.
