The two Presidents agreed that together the relationship of traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two parties, two countries and two peoples in the past constantly consolidate and develop all over the field; affirmed will continue to take the highest priority and to do their utmost to nurture the relationship of traditional friendship and the Vietnam-Laos special solidarity. The two sides agreed to jointly organize solemn celebrations of the 55 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and 40 years on the friendship treaty Vietnam-Laos
