Hiệp hội doanh nghiệp tỉnh Trà Vinh là hiệp hội lớn mạnh nhất hiện nay tại Tỉnh với 216 hội viên bao gồm các doanh nghiệp thuộc mọi thành phần kinh tế trong Tỉnh. Hoạt động nổi bật nhất của Hiệp hội là thu thập ý kiến, kiến nghị của hội viên để nắm thông tin, tình hình hoạt động của doanh nghiệp và thu thập những kiến nghị, đề xuất nhằm đưa vào các hoạt động hỗ trợ doanh nghiệp và đối thoại doanh nghiệp với chính quyền địa phương. Hiệp hội thường tiến hành dưới các hình thức như gửi phiếu thăm dò ý kiến, tham gia cùng đoàn công tác do Sở Công thương tổ chức đến thăm và nắm tình hình hoạt động của một số doanh nghiệp và lấy ý kiến nghị của các hội viên đến đề nghị trực tiếp tại hội. Tuy nhiên, việc tổ chức lấy ý kiến cũng còn một số hạn chế do giới hạn về nhân lực và chi phí của Hiệp hội.
