Số tiền bạn có trong tay không khiến bạn hạnh phúc bằng những gì bạn nghĩ trong đầu. Kết quả một cuộc khảo sát của tiến sỹ Chris Boyce thuộc Đại học Manchester, Anh, cho thấy việc tăng thu nhập và địa vị trong xã hội có thể khiến bạn hài lòng hơn 4%, thay đổi tình trạng hôn nhân khiến bạn thỏa mãn hơn 1–4%, còn việc thay đổi tính cách khiến người ta hài lòng hơn đến 35%.
