Thiếu nước trầm trọng dẫn đến giảm huyết áp, tim đập nhanh; miệng, da, niêm mạc khô, không đổ mồ hôi; mắt sưng, rất khát nước, tiểu tiện ít, mất định hướng. Nhiều người chỉ uống nước khi khát.
