Những năm đầu đại học, tôi đi làm thêm việc gia sư dạy kèm cho các em học sinh tiểu học. Đến gần cuối năm 2014, tôi đã nghỉ dạy thêm và đăng ký dự tuyển vào nhóm nghiên cứu Hỗ trợ Sinh sản, thuộc Phòng Thí nghiệm Nghiên cứu và Ứng dụng Tế Bào Gốc để làm khóa luận tốt nghiệp. Trong suốt thời gian học tập và làm việc tại Phòng Thí nghiệm, tôi có cơ hội được trau dồi kiến thức, kỹ năng đọc dịch các bài báo khoa học; sử dụng hóa chất, thiết bị phòng thí nghiệm để thực hiện đề tài cá nhân “Đánh giá tác động của các nhân tố tăng trưởng lên sự trưởng thành nang trứng sơ cấp in vitro ở chuột nhắt trắng Mus musculus var. Albino”.
