Ngày nay, thay vì sinh con tại bệnh viện, một số sản phụ lại chọn cách sinh tại nhà vì sự thoải mái và tiết kiệm về chi phí, tuy nhiên lại chứa nhiều rủi ro. Thứ nhất, sản phụ và con của họ sẽ không có sự chăm sóc y tế tốt nhất, đặc biệt là chăm sóc sau sinh. Thứ hai, rủi ro trong lúc sinh có thể xảy ra, nếu sinh tại nhà sẽ khó cho việc cấp cứu. Thứ ba, môi trường tại nhà chứa nhiều nguồn bệnh ảnh hưởng không tốt tới cả mẹ lẫn con. Vì vậy tôi không ủng hộ việc sinh tại nhà.

Third, the environment at home contains many sources of disease influence not good to both mother and child. So I'm not advocating home birth.
