Các kết quả trên cho thấy có sự khác biệt thống kê giữa CGI của các ngân hàng niêm yết và các ngân hàng chưa được niêm yết. CGI trung bình của các ngân hàng niêm yết cao hơn CGI của các ngân hàng không được niêm yết trong các năm. Phát hiện này cho thấy việc được niêm yết có thể khuyến khích các ngân hàng thực hiện theo quy định của Ngân hàng nhà nước và thông lệ quốc tế. Do vậy, cần khuyến khích các ngân hàng còn lại sớm niêm yết trên sàn chứng khoán.
