Thứ 3 (18/10), theo dữ liệu chính thức của Văn phòng Thống kế Quốc gia Anh (U.K Office for National Statistics), CPI tháng 9 ở Anh chạm mức đỉnh trong gần 2 năm, cao hơn mức dự báo do Bảng Anh gần đây mất giá dẫn đến việc giá cả hàng hóa tăng cao.
Trong bản báo cáo, Văn phòng Thống kê Quốc gia của Anh (U.K Office for National Statistics) cho biết chỉ số CPI (loại trừ tính mùa vụ) tháng 9 tăng 1% so với cùng kỳ năm trước, cao hơn mức dự báo 0.9% và cao hơn mức tăng tháng 8 là 0.6%. Đây là mức tăng cao nhất kể từ tháng 11/2014.
