1.2 Diễn giải
Trong, Hợp đồng trừ trường hợp ngữ cảnh yêu cầu khác, còn thì:
(a) những từ chỉ một giới là gồm tất cả các giới;
(b) những từ chỉ số ít cũng bao gồm số nhiều và từ ngữ chỉ số nhiều cũng bao gồm cả số ít.
(c) những quy định bao gồm các từ “đồng ý”, “đã đồng ý” hoặc “thỏa thuận” yêu cầu sự thỏa thuận phải được ghi bằng văn bản, và
(d) “được viết” hoặc “bằng văn bản” nghĩa là phải được viết bằng tay, được đánh máy, được in hoặc chế bản điện tử và làm thành tài liệu lưu giữ lâu bền.
Các từ ngữ bên lề và các đầu đề khác sẽ không được xem xét khi diễn dịch các Điều kiện này.
1.3 Các cách thông tin
Bất cứ chỗ nào khi Điều kiện này quy định việc đưa ra hoặc ban hành sự chấp thuận, chứng chỉ, tán thành, quyết định, thông báo và yêu cầu, thì những truyền thông này sẽ phải là:
(a) bằng văn bản và chuyển tay (theo giấy biên nhận), được gửi bằng bưu điện, bưu phẩm hoặc được truyền đi bằng bất kỳ hệ thống truyền điện tử được thỏa thuận như đã nêu trong Điều kiện riêng; và
(b) được chuyển, gửi hoặc truyền đến địa chỉ để thông tin được với người nhận như đã quy định trong Hợp đồng. Tuy nhiên:

1.4 Luật và ngôn ngữ
