Đại học Việt Nhật có tổng số vốn đầ

Đại học Việt Nhật có tổng số vốn đầu tư khoảng 365 triệu USD, trong đó vốn vay ODA của chính phủ Nhật Bản là 200 triệu USD, vốn tài trợ của các doanh nghiệp Nhật Bản là 100 triệu USD, còn lại là vốn đối ứng của chính phủ Việt Nam.

Trường tập trung đào tạo trong các lĩnh vực ngành công nghệ kỹ thuật cao như công nghệ Nano, công nghệ Vật liệu mới, Cơ khí và Tự động hóa...

Về nghiên cứu kkhoa học, trường hướng tới các sản phẩm hoàn chỉnh qua đó làm tăng tỷ trọng giá trị sản phẩm công nghệ cao trong sản xuất công nghiệp, các lĩnh vực khoa học liên ngành như biến dối khí hậu, phòng tránh thiên tai...

Trường ĐH Việt Nhật tổ chức theo mô hình đại học tiên tiến của Nhật Bản với ngôn ngữ chính là tiếng Nhật, tiếng Anh và tiếng Việt với sự tham gia trực tiếp của các nhà khoa học, chuyên gia, doanh nhân Nhật Bản tại Việt Nam...

Trường sẽ hoàn thành xây dựng vào năm 2020.
