Qua tìm hiểu về tập đoàn viễn thông quân đội Viettel cũng như các hoạt động đầu tư viễn thông của doanh nghiệp tại Lào, nhóm nghiên cứu đồng thời chỉ ra các ảnh hưởng của các môi trường kinh tế, văn hóa – xã hội, pháp luật, tự nhiên – công nghệ tới việc hoạt động tại một thị trường mới – nơi được mệnh danh là đất nước “Triệu Voi” – nơi đang trên đà phát triển về viễn thông, thì việc đầu tư vào đây là một cơ hội lớn nhưng cũng mở ra nhiều thách thức cho doanh nghiệp
