Công tác thẩm định tại Maritime Bank Nguyen Van Cu đã đạt được những thành quả tốt, biểu hiện qua hoạt động tín dụng: Dư nợ tín dụng tăng nhanh, đến 31/12/2014 đạt 1.128 tỷ đồng, tăng gấp 2,3 lần so với đầu năm. Mức tăng trong năm 2014 là 627 tỷ đồng tương ứng với 6,5 lần mức tăng năm 2013; đạt 120% chỉ tiêu kế hoạch đặt ra. Nếu trong năm 2013, dư nợ tín dụng biến động thất thường thì năm 2014 tín dụng luôn đạt tăng trưởng dương qua các tháng với mức tăng tháng sau luôn tăng cao hơn tháng trước.
