Nhận xét : Đa số các công trình sử dụng kiểu điều hòa không khí 2 cục, với chi phí rẻ và thông dụng, phù hợp với các không gian có chức năng độc lập. Được sử dụng ít nhất là hệ thống điều hòa chiller (chiller giải nhiệt gió, chiller giải nhiệt nước), hệ thống này với công suất lớn làm lạnh được diện tích lớn như các siêu thị, nhà xưởng,… Việc vận hành và quản lý hệ thống này cũng khá dễ dàng nhờ tích hợp bộ điều khiển hệ thống từ trung tâm, nhưng lại không linh động được nhiệt độ làm lạnh. Với giá thành đầu tư rất cao, hệ thống có kích thước lớn nên đòi hỏi nhiều không gian lắp đặt, quá trình bảo dưỡng bảo hành khó vì cần chuyên môn cao. Đây là lý do hệ thống điều hòa chiller không được sử dụng nhiều tại các công trình.
