Thay vì thế, chúng ta phải đứng vững trên nền của đức tin trong sạch và cầu nguyện với sự giúp đỡ của Đức Thánh Linh, hãy đến trước Đức Chúa Trời một cách vui mừng như những người không tì vết. Ngoài ra, chúng ta phải thương xót bất cứ ai đang bị các giáo sư giả dẫn dắt vì đức tin của họ yếu đuối. Khi điều này xảy ra, chúng ta phải thận trọng để không bị lây nhiễm bởi tội lỗi của họ, nhưng cố gắng khiến họ lại đứng trước Đấng Christ (c.17-25).
