Thực địa trong dạy học Địa lí là mộ

Thực địa trong dạy học Địa lí là một trong những nội dung quan trọng. Thực địa giúp người học kiểm chứng lí thuyết đã học ngoài tự nhiên, tích lũy kiến thức và làm giàu thêm kinh nghiệm cho bản thân. Mặc dù là một yêu cầu “bắt buộc” song do hạn chế về nhiều mặt mà việc tổ chức đi thực địa luôn là một vấn đề khó khăn. Bên cạnh đó, với sự phát triển của Công nghệ thông tin, đặc biệt là GIS cho phép người học tiếp cận các phương pháp dạy học mới. Đề tài: Xây dựng mô hinh ảo các tuyến thực địa địa lí tự nhiên dùng cho dạy học địa lí là một giải pháp tốt trong giai đoạn hiện nay.
Ngoài giảm thiểu chi phí, an toàn cho người thực hiện, giải pháp này còn cho người học cái nhìn tổng quát và đa dạng về khu vực nghiên cứu mà vẫn đảm bảo lượng kiến thức, đặc biệt là đối với địa bàn rộng, khó khăn trong đi lại.
Trong phạm vi đề tài, tác giả sử dụng thành quả bản đồ 3D trực tuyến (Google Earth, Google Maps,…) kết hợp với hệ thống GPRS và một số phần mềm ứng dụng khác để xây dựng các tuyến thực địa ảo; xây dựng hệ thống Multi media minh họa tại các điểm thực địa; các hộp thoại nội dung chuyên đề (địa chất, địa mạo, khí hậu, thủy văn, sinh vật, thổ nhưỡng,...).
Đề tài sẽ là tư liệu quan trọng trong giảng dạy địa lí ở các trường phổ thông, đào tạo cử nhân sư phạm địa lí,...; là tiền đề để xây dựng cho các chuyên đề khác của khoa học địa lí.
