Đường bê tông xi măng đang được khu

Đường bê tông xi măng đang được khuyến khích thay cho đường bê tông nhựa đường do các ưu điểm của đường bê tông xi măng. Tuy nhiên, chi phí đầu tư ban đầu cho đường bê tông xi măng đắt gấp 1.3 -1.5 lần so với đường bê tông nhựa, hệ thống kỹ thuật xây dựng đường bê tông xi măng của VN còn thấp và chưa đồng bộ nên chưa thể phát huy được ưu điểm của đường bê tông xi măng. Mặt khác, VN chưa chủ động sản xuất đại trà xi măng PC 500 – là nguồn nguyên liệu chính để xây dựng đường bê tông xi măng, do đó hiện tại các tuyến đường cao tốc của VN đang được xây dựng bằng nhựa đường đặc nóng.
