1.1 Lịch sử hình thành và phát triển:
Ngày 05/12/1985, Tổng cục trưởng Tổng cục Hải quan ban hành Quyết định số 215/TCHQ-TCCB thành lập Hải quan tỉnh Đồng Tháp trực thuộc Tổng cục Hải quan. Ngày 12/6/1986, UBND tỉnh Đồng Tháp ra Thông báo số 32/TB-UB về việc thành lập Hải quan tỉnh Đồng Tháp theo Quyết định số 215/TCHQ-TCCB và công bố bắt đầu hoạt động chính thức vào ngày 01/7/1986.
