Ở mỗi thời điểm đều có nhu cầu về một số lượng lao động nhất định . Số lượng này do đặc điểm của hoạt động, quy mô của từng rạp để quy định. Có hai nguyên nhân chính trong nhu cầu tuyển chọn nhân viên gồm:
• Nhu cầu thiếu hụt nhân viên
• Nhu cầu cần tuyển chọn thêm nhân viên.
Nhu cầu tuyển chọn thêm nhân viên là nhu cầu thực tế được đưa ra bằng con số cụ thể để có thể đảm bảo quy trình làm việc một cách hiệu quả trong công việc hiện tại và tương lai của từng rạp.
