Nhìn chung tình hình kinh tế Việt Nam thời gian qua có nhiều diễn biến phức tạp. Tuy nhiên, EIB đã tăng trưởng và hoạt động có hiệu quả. Vào cuối năm 2013, huy động vốn của toàn hệ thống Eximbank đạt 82.758 tỷ đồng thì cuối năm 2014, con số này là 101.480 tỷ đồng. Dư nợ cho vay tăng từ 83.354 tỷ đồng cuối năm 2013 lên 87.147 tỷ đồng cuối năm 2014. Hai chỉ số này có giảm trong quý I/2015, nhưng lợi nhuận trước thuế vẫn đạt kỳ vọng.

By the end of 2013, the financing of the whole system of Eximbank reached 82,758 billion, the end of 2014, this number is 101,480 billion. Outstanding loans increased from 83,354 billion last year up to 2013 87,147 billion last year by 2014. The two indicators has decreased in the quarter of 2015, but profit before tax still hit expectations.
