Thu gom, tái sử dụng các phụ phẩm từ lúa, gạo (rơm rạ, vỏ trấu,...) để làm nguyên liệu đầu vào cho các ngành sản xuất khác như: trồng nấm, sản xuất phân bón, chất đốt, sinh khối (biomass) sử dụng cho các nhu cầu sinh hoạt, chế biến, bảo quản nông sản, góp phần tăng thu nhập cho nông dân và giảm đáng kể ô nhiễm môi trường.
