Trường Đại học Dân lập Văn Lang (tên tiếng Anh: Van Lang University) thành lập năm 1995, là một trong số các trường đại học ngoài công lập đầu tiên của khu vực phía Nam. Trường đào tạo bậc đại học và cao học, hệ chính quy tập trung, gồm 18 ngành, tổ chức thành 4 nhóm ngành: Kỹ thuật – Công nghệ, Kinh tế, Mỹ thuật ứng dụng, Xã hội – Nhân văn. Trường là một trong 20 trường đại học đầu tiên tại Việt Nam tham gia hệ thống kiểm định chất lượng giáo dục quốc gia, và được Hội đồng Quốc gia kiểm định chất lượng giáo dục đề nghị Bộ GD&ĐT công nhận đạt tiêu chuẩn chất lượng (05/02/2009).
