When I was growing up, I looked forward to Halloween more than Christmas. It was not the treats or surprises or the fact that I knew we were close to the end of the school year. No, to be honest, it was due to the fact that I knew I had the chance to throw a great Halloween Bash, something I still do to this day. When I talk about a Halloween Party I am not talking about dry ice, plywood coffins, or bowls full of popcorn, holiday parties that are conventionally thrown for children. It is important to remember the crucial difference between making your guests feel like children and treating them like children.Stick your hand in a bowl of peeled-grape "eyeballs" on your way through a friends "haunted house," and you will know, better then you could ever want to, the very essence of this difference. But there is a solution. As I discovered while savouring the Halloween nights of my youth, special days like this one are as much about the season as they are about the rituals, and especially as we outgrow those capes and masks, they should be celebrated accordingly.Read more at http://www.eventmanagerblog.com/plan-halloween-party#EWTo4ljhyb0sPeEd.99
