- Nhận chương trình từ phòng điều hành ( chương trình du lịch, danh sách đoàn, tài liệu tuyến tham quan, bản đồ, giáy xác nhận dịch vụ, tiền tạm ứng, một số giấy tờ cần thiết khác…..).
- Chuẩn bị chung :
* Chuẩn bị, nghiên cứu, tìm hiểu những tài liệu, thông tin phục vụ cho chuyến đi như vị trí địa lý, lịch sử, văn hóa, phong tục tập quán, con người, tình hình an ninh, chính trị , giao thông tại những nơi đoàn đến tham quan.Chuẩn bị bài thuyết trình theo tuyến và điểm tham quan.
* Nghiên cứu tìm hiểu chương trình du lịch ( mục đích, ý nghĩa của chuyến đi, lịch trính ngày đi và ngày về của đoàn, số chuyến bay hay tuyến xe của đoàn, lịch trình tham quan, các tuyến điểm nơi đoàn đến, các chương trình vui chơi giải trí, tên và địa điểm các cơ sở cung cấp dịch vụ, các loại phương tiện vận chuyển…), tìm hiểu thông tin về các thành viên trong đoàn khác ( số lượng, tên, nghề nghiệp, quốc tịch, tuổi tác, giới tính, sở thích, những yêu cầu đặc biệt….)
- Chuẩn bị cá nhân : chuẩn bị giấy tờ và tư trang cá nhân cần thiết : thẻ hướng dẫn, chứng minh nhân dân, lịch trình, sổ điện thoại….
