Trick-or-treat is a custom for children on Halloween. Children wearing Halloween costumes and candy bags in a bag to go from house to house demanding candy, sometimes demanding money with the question, "Trick-or-treat?" (Usually translated as 'the candy or teaser' or 'trick or fortune'). The kids will be naughty, harassing homeowners or their property if they do not give candy.
In North America, trick-or-treat has become a tradition of Halloween, at least since the late 1950s . Landlords often engaging in Halloween decorating their own entrance with plastic shapes, paper, skeleton and pumpkin lights. Some homeowners often put candy in pots on the porch or directly given to the child. In recent years, trick-or-treat has spread to every house in the neighborhood, including senior housing and condominiums.
