Khả năng thương mại hóa công nghệ: TDA có kế hoạch hợp tác với doanh nghiệp lớn, theo đó các doanh nghiệp tiếp nhận tôm bố mẹ chọn giống thế hệ G2 và G3 của tiểu dự án (500 cặp tôm bố mẹ/1 cơ sở/1 thế hệ chọn giống), và sử dụng kinh phí đối ứng của doanh nghiệp để nuôi vỗ, cho sinh sản, ương nuôi để đánh giá, khảo nghiệm chất lượng tôm bố mẹ của tiểu dự án. Đó là các cơ sở của Công ty TNHH Việt Úc (Quảng Ninh), Công ty thủy sản Thông Thuận (Hà Tĩnh), Công ty TNHH Vina (Ninh Thuận), Công ty TNHH Thủy sản Mạnh Cường (Vũng Tàu), Công ty TNHH Minh Phú (Bạc Liêu). Đây là các cơ sở sản xuất giống lớn, hàng năm các cơ sở này đã cung cấp phần lớn con giống tôm chân trắng phục vụ nuôi thương phẩm ở Việt Nam. Sau khi thực hiện tiểu dự án, công nghệ của tiểu dự án được tiếp tục chuyển giao và duy trì bền vững theo phương thức trọn gói kết hợp đào tạo hoặc hợp tác sản xuất.
