Một trong những đặc điểm của ngành Nông nghiệp đó là tính thời vụ cao. Tính thời vụ trong nông nghiệp được biểu hiện rõ khi đông vụ, sản lượng rau quả lớn, tuy nhiên khi hết vụ sản lượng giảm, thậm chí là không có. Do vậy, là một công ty sản xuất kinh doanh trong lĩnh vực nông nghiệp, Ziman luôn phải đối mặt với tình trạng quá tải nguyên liệu khi vào chính vụ và thiếu nguyên liệu sản xuất khi chưa đến vụ thu hoạch. Trước đây, khi chỉ sản xuất cà chua, vào thời điểm cà chua chín, công nhân trong Công ty phải làm việc 3 ca/ngày để sản xuất nguyên liệu, tránh để lâu sản phẩm sẽ bị hỏng và giảm chất lượng. Tuy nhiên, có những thời điểm Công ty không có đủ nguyên liệu để phục vụ sản xuất, công nhân không có việc làm, các đơn hàng không đáp ứng được liên tục. Vì thế, đa dạng hóa sản phẩm giúp cho Công ty tận dụng các loại rau quả khác nhau để có nguồn nguyên liệu thay thế, giúp quá trình sản xuất được diễn ra liên tục.
