Đại hội đã nghe trình bày Báo cáo chính trị và Báo cáo kiểm điểm của Ban Chấp hành Chi bộ khóa V trình tại Đại hội Chi bộ Sở Ngoại vụ lần thứ VI, nhiệm kỳ 2015 – 2020. Các báo cáo tập trung đánh giá kết quả thực hiện nghị quyết đại hội nhiệm kỳ 2010-2015, kiểm điểm sự lãnh đạo, chỉ đạo của Ban Chấp hành Chi bộ, đồng thời đề ra mục tiêu, phương hướng, nhiệm vụ nhiệm kỳ 2015-2020. Trong nhiệm kỳ qua, Chi bộ Sở Ngoại vụ đã phát huy tốt vai trò hạt nhân chính trị, lãnh đạo cán bộ, đảng viên thực hiện thắng lợi nhiệm vụ chính trị được giao. Chi bộ đã chăm lo công tác xây dựng Đảng, tạo chuyển biến mạnh mẽ cả về chính trị, tư tưởng và tổ chức. Nội bộ đoàn kết thống nhất trên cơ sở thực hiện tốt các nguyên tắc tổ chức và sinh hoạt Đảng, nhất là nguyên tắc tập trung dân chủ. Hoạt động của các đoàn thể tiếp tục được duy trì; phát huy tốt danh hiệu tổ chức cơ sở đảng trong sạch vững mạnh, 100% đảng viên hoàn thành tốt nhiệm vụ, không có đảng viên vi phạm kỷ luật Đảng.
