Trong XP, Feedback được đánh giá rất cao vì thông qua Feedback có thể đánh giá được mức độ làm việc của hệ thống từ khách hàng và từ đó có thể thay đổi được cho đúng với yêu cầu của khách hàng. Feedback phải được đảm bảo ở tất cả các iteration, để có thể thu được ý kiến của khách hàng về các tính năng họ quan tâm hay những thay đổi mà họ muốn có trong phân đoạn tiếp theo. Không chỉ là ở khách hàng mà còn feedback về các khó khăn trong quá trình phát triển phần mềm, hay về hiệu suất. Phản hồi từ các developer về tình trạng của hệ thống code tới managers, khách hàng và các bên liên quan(Nếu có)
