Trong một bài nghiên cứu trước đây

Trong một bài nghiên cứu trước đây [1], chúng tôi đã nói về tác động và vai trò của ngữ điệu trong tiếng Việt. Theo đó, chúng tôi đã chia từ prosody theo nghĩa của Tây phương thành 2 phần: ngữ điệu (có tác dụng vào từ ngữ - local effect) và ngôn điệu (có tác dụng vào toàn câu nói – global effect). Chúng tôi đã đi sâu vào phần ngữ điệu và cho rằng đối với tiếng Việt thì yếu tố có tác dụng rõ nhất đến ngữ điệu là trường độ, tức là độ ngắn dài của các từ được đọc trong một cụm từ, làm cho có sự liên-âm khi đọc một cụm từ. Điều này khác với các ngôn ngữ đa âm (tiếng Anh, tiếng Pháp,..) trong đó các yếu tố về cao độ (intonation) và cường độ (intensity) của prosody có tác dụng rất quan trọng trong việc làm cho giọng đọc được tự nhiên.

In a previous study [1], we were talking about the impact and the role of intonation in Vietnamese.
