Mặc dù những người tự kỉ đã đứng lên đấu tranh cho chính bản thân mình nhưng vẫn chưa đạt hiệu quả cao . vì vậy các tổ chức phi chính phủ đã phối hợp với những người tự kỉ đưa ra những chính sách nhằm nâng cao vai trò vị thế và quyền của người tự kỉ trong xã hội.
