Cotton plants are grown in Vietnam in two cases:
Cotton wet season: July harvest sown in late May 11. The seasonal planting cotton accounts for most of the rain, but there are many different types of plant. Cotton can be grown separately in a season or two after planting in case of short-term crops such as green beans, soybeans, corn ... and may monoculture or intercropped with other crops.
Cotton dry service: sown in June 11 and 12, harvested in March and 4. There are two types: Cotton grown on small plots with irrigation systems by the lake as in Phu Yen, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai.
Cotton grown in large areas, the focus is watered by the irrigation schemes as in Binh Thuan.
