Chùa Haeinsa 1200 tuổi là ngôi chùa lưu giữ kinh Phật cổ nhất thế giới, quyển kinh Tripitaka Koreana. Trong chùa còn có tượng Phật bằng gỗ cổ nhất Hàn Quốc. Đây là điểm đến Phật giáo quan trọng của du lịch Hàn Quốc.
