Quản lý hoạt động học và tự học của sinh viên: Hỗ trợ tốt cho SV trong quá trình tự học, nhiệm vụ của các CSĐT phổ biến cho SV các thông tin về kế hoạch học tập; nội dung, thời lượng môn học; tài liệu học tập và tham khảo; phương pháp học; kiểm tra, đánh giá kết quả... Các thông tin này là cơ sở để SV hoạch định thời gian, nội dung và phương pháp học tập. Phương pháp dạy, hướng dẫn phù hợp giúp phát huy tính chủ động của SV trong việc tích lũy tri thức khi giờ lên lớp bị hạn chế trong khi khối lượng kiến thức phải truyền đạt lớn.
