Hai đơn vị chế biến thực phẩm, thuỷ hải sản tại HN và Nghệ An được dự án lựa chọn là các doanh nghiệp có quy mô nhỏ. Đây cũng là mô hình doanh nghiệp phổ biến trong lĩnh vực chế biến thực phẩm thuỷ hải sản.
Công ty Animex Nghệ An đang vận hành 2 hệ thống kho lạnh theo công nghệ mới do UNIDO tài trợ.
Trước đây, để vận hành hệ thống máy lạnh cũ, đơn vị này phải có riêng một khu vực để lắp đặt.

Hệ thống máy lạnh R290 nhỏ gọn hơn cả mong đợi của người phụ trách kỹ thuật công ty. Nó không khác nhiều một chiếc máy điều hoà không khí dùng cho gia đình và việc điều khiển cũng dễ dàng hơn bao giờ hết
