Tôi xin gửi lời chào đầu tiên đến với Ban Điều Hành AFA
Tôi tên là TĂNG TƯỜNG ANH,một người làm phim trẻ tuổi ở Việt Nam.
Như các bạn cũng biết tôi đến từ một đất nước xa xôi nhưng cũng không quá xa lạ với các bạn,với một nền điện ảnh non trẻ và đang trên đường hội nhập với châu Á – thế giới thì có một cơ hội được tham dự khóa học tại AFA là vinh dự đối với tôi.
Tôi yêu điện ảnh và luôn dành cho tình yêu ấy những gì tốt nhất tôi có thể làm.Năm tháng tuổi trẻ của tôi gắn liền với tình yêu ấy và cho đến tận bây giờ nó ngày càng cháy bỏng.Từ khi còn là một thiếu niên cho đến lúc ngồi ghế trường Điện Ảnh ở Việt Nam,tôi luôn mong ước một ngày nào đó mình sẽ có được bộ phim để dành cho cuộc đời mình.Tôi muốn làm phim về đất nước của tôi,đem nền văn hóa Việt Nam giới thiệu với thế giới giống như cách Điện Ảnh Hàn Quốc đã làm được.Đó là một hoài bão lớn và tôi hy vọng một ngày nào đó tôi có thể góp sức vào sự phát triển của Điện Ảnh Việt Nam,học hỏi từ những nền Điện Ảnh phát triển như các bạn.
Ở Việt Nam ,thật sự cũng không dễ dàng để chúng tôi có được những trải nghiệm trực tiếp cách làm phim của những nền điện ảnh phát triển.Tôi thấy mình may mắn khi tưng được tham gia vào những dự án phim lớn khi họ đến quay hình ở Việt Nam : NOBLE (Destiny Film - England) , BETTER MAN (Fremantle Media - Australia).Với những vị trí như Assistant Director và Production Assistant tôi đã có cơ hội học hỏi rất nhiều từ cách làm phim của họ.
Sau đó tôi càng quyết tâm thực hiện những dự án phim của mình.Tôi viết kịch bản phim dài,thực hiện những bộ phim ngắn bên cạnh công việc chính thức của tôi ở công ty quảng cáo.Tôi luôn dành thời gian để xem những bộ phim từ Hàn Quốc và Hollywood để trang bị thêm kinh ngiệm cho mình.Dù cho tôi có bận rộn với cuộc sống này như thế nào tôi vẫn sẽ luôn dành thời gian để hoàn thành những dự án phim của mình.Có thể bằng nhiều tính chất công việc khác nhau như Đạo Diễn,Biên Kịch,Dựng Phim...nhưng tôi vẫn cảm thấy mình hạnh phúc vì sống đúng với đam mê của mình.
Tôi từng học 3 năm ở trường Đại Học Điện Ảnh Việt Nam,chuyên ngành Đạo Diễn Điện Ảnh nhưng tôi vãn muốn được học thêm nhiều nữa.Tôi cũng may mắn có được chứng chỉ từ nhà làm phim Dov Simen,và chứng chỉ tại trường Điện Ảnh Quốc tế Sài Gòn (SIFS).Và bây giờ tôi đang rất khao khát được học tại AFA.
Lý do lớn nhất tôi muốn được tham gia khóa học tại AFA là vì việc được học hỏi từ ngôi trường danh tiếng của một nền công nghiệp điện ảnh phát triển như Hàn Quốc là điều tuyệt vời nhất để tôi học hỏi thêm nữa từ các bạn.Nếu được chọn tôi sẽ cố gắng và nỗ lực hết sức mình với vinh dự đó,đem những gì mình học hỏi được,góp công sức nhỏ bé của mình để góp phần phát triển nền điện ảnh Việt Nam.
Trong năm nay những dự án phim điện ảnh của tôi sẽ tiếp tục được thực hiện với hai dự án phim điện ảnh.Tôi đang gấp rút hoàn thiện phần kịch bản để có thể gửi đến những nhà sản xuất trong và ngoài nước.Ngoài ra những dự án phim ngắn của tôi sẽ tiếp tuc được thực hiện và tham dự các liên hoan phim quốc tế.Tôi mong mỏi rằng những dự định và dự án của mình luôn có thể gặp được nhữn nhà sản xuất tuyệt vời để có thể biến nó thành một tác phẩm hoàn chỉnh và văn minh.
Điện Ảnh luôn là thử thách lớn lao đối với những ai muốn theo đuổi giấc mơ đó.Ở đó cần phải có sự kiên trì ,nhẫn nại ,sáng tạo và siêng năng.Không dễ để có thể theo đuổi đến cùng giấc mơ đó.Nhưng tôi sẽ không bỏ cuộc.
Vì bản thân tôi,vì gia đình tôi,vì đất nước tôi...tôi có nhiều lý do để tiếp tục cố gắng.
Tôi hi vọng những dòng chữ ở đây có thể giúp các bạn hiểu được tình yêu dành cho Điện Ảnh của tôi lớn như thế nào.Và khao khát cháy bỏng của tôi muốn được tham gia khóa học ngắn hạn tại AFA,nếu điều đó thành sự thật đó sẽ là niềm vinh hạnh lớn lao dành cho tôi,gia đình tôi nói riêng và Việt Nam nói chung.
Xin chúc cho nền Điện Ảnh Hàn Quốc luôn luôn có những tác phẩm Điện Ảnh Xuất Sắc. Xin chúc ban Điều Hành AFA thật nhiều sức khỏe và thành công.

DEAR TO THE BOARD OF THE ASIAN FILM ACADEMYI would first say hi to the AFA Executive CommitteeI called UP the WALL, a young filmmakers in Vietnam.As you well know I come from a country far away but not so familiar with you, with a fledgling film and are on the road of integration with Asia-world is an opportunity to attend courses at the AFA is the honor for me.I love cinema and always for love him what best I can do. My years with love and until now it increasingly passionate. From when I was a teenager until the bench film school in Vietnam, I wish one day I will get the film so devoted to his life. I wanted to make a film about my country, to bring the culture of Vietnam to introduce to the world the same way Korea has done ... it is a big ambition and I hope someday I can contribute to the development of the cinema of Vietnam, learning from the Cinema developed as you.In Vietnam, really easy for us to get direct experience of how to make a film of the cinema development. I find myself lucky when brains are involved in major film projects when they come to film in Vietnam: NOBLE (Destiny Film-England), the BETTER MAN (Fremantle Media-Australia). With the position as Assistant Director and Production Assistant I had the opportunity to learn a lot from how their films.Then I am more determined to make his film projects. I wrote a long movie, made the short film next to my official job in advertising companies. I always take the time to watch movies from South Korea and Hollywood to more skilled yourself. Even though I got busy with life this how I still will always take the time to complete his film projects. Can using a variety of different nature of work as Director, Screenplay, Editing ... but I still feel happy with staying true to his passion.I studied 3 years at the school of cinema of Vietnam, specializing in film director, but I'd be predisposed to learn more. I was also lucky enough to get a certificate from filmmaker Dov Simen, and certificates at international school Saigon (SIFS). And now I'm very hungry to learn in AFA.The biggest reason I'd be taking the course at the AFA's are learning from the school the reputation of a film industry development as South Korea is the most amazing thing to me to learn more from you. If selected I will try and do our best to honor it, to bring what I can learn, contribute to our little effort to contribute to the development of the cinema of Vietnam.This year the films will continue to be made with the two film projects. I'm rushing finishing the script to be able to send to the manufacturers at home and abroad. In addition to my short film projects going to Pitt was made and attended the International Film Festival.
