Để cung cấp cho các thiết bị tự dùng phải xây dựng thiết bị phân phối ở 2 cấp điện áp 6Kv và 0,4Kv, vì vậy phải dùng 2 loại máy biến áp:
MBA tự dùng bậc 1:từ cấp điện áp MF xuống cấp 6Kv.
MBA tự dùng bậc 2:từ cấp 6Kv xuống 0,4Kv
