 Nhằm đạt được mục tiêu đến năm 2020, trường ĐH Nguyễn Tất Thành sẽ trở thànhmột trong 50 trường đại học hàng đầu của Việt Nam, nhà trường luôn hướng tới việc đảm bảo “bốn lợi ích” là:  Lợi ích của người học, lợi ích của giảng viên, lợi ích của nhà trường và lợi ích của xã hội thông qua việc không ngừng đổi mới chương trình đào tạo, áp dụng các phương pháp giảng dạy tích cực và tiên tiến, mở rộng quy mô hoạt động và đầu tư xây dựng đội ngũ vững mạnh, cơ sở vật chất kỹ thuật hiện đại và không ngừng nâng cao thương hiệu, học hiệu của nhà trường.
-Những bộ đồng phục đã trở thành một trong những "đặc điểm" nhận diện thương hiệu của sinh viên. Đối với trường Đại Học Nguyễn Tất Thành,mỗi Khoa điiều có những bộ đồng phục chung và riêng thể hiện đặc thù và nếp văn hóa trường học của sinh viên Nguyễn Tất Thành.
